LittleLusso has been brewing for some time and we are so happy to finally be up and running! We thought you might like to know a little about us. So it goes...

We first realised we knew next to nothing about leather when we managed to "destroy" quite a number of our leather shoes and bags over the years. We were like kids who had dropped the ice cream cone on the floor and crying out loud. 

It wasn't until a friend, the owner of LovingYourBags, gave us the right advice that we began to look at leather in a totally different way. It is no longer just another bag or pair of shoes, but leather which we need to take good care of, just like we do with our own skin. Our leather craft class at Birdsall Leather was another wake-up call for us. It was just phenomenal to see and to understand the effort that goes into leather treatment and the end product that comes out of it. 

We tried to search online for some beginner's tips, but there was just too much focus on maintaining leather sofas, car seats, and upholstery. We couldn't find enough information about leather shoes, bags, handbags, gloves and belts. There are also many DIY solutions, which we were unsure if they were safe to try on our favourite RM Williams. We felt totally helpless and clueless!

While some may say taking care of leather is not important, what many don't know is the kind of return should the leather be well taken care of. An aged piece of nice leather will bring you back to those memorable life moments, and of course, sustainability is one of the reasons too.

This gave birth to the idea of LittleLusso. We aspire to be the place to provide you with information and solutions to your leather care and needs.

We are comfortable with the knowledge that we aren't experts yet, but we learn quickly and from the best in the industry.
